Old McDonald had a field

OLD McDThe farmer Old McDonald has a field where he is going to plant flowers.But in order of him to know how much seed he has to buy, he must know how big his field actually is. His field consists of 4 right-angled triangles.

He knows that:

q= 40 m

r= 30m

z= 55 m

l= 70

o= 20 m

 Find the area of each of the triangles and then find the combined area of the whole field. 🙂

Have fun!!!

  1. Baptiste says

    Triangle G
    => (40*30)/2 = 600 m²

    Triangle C
    q²+r² = 2500
    P= 50
    z²-p²= 525
    X= 22,91
    => (22,91*50)/2 = 572,75 m²

    Triangle N
    l²-z²= 7925
    S= 89,02
    => (55*89,02)/2 = 2448,05 m²

    Triangle B
    => (89,02*20)/2 = 890,2 m²
