Today, our topic is robots with Axelle, Yanis and Axel. We talk about the jukebox, then about drones. But now, Axelle and Yanis will introduce the theme

– Hi yanis, we will talk about robots today.

Axelle

– Cool, what can you say to us about it ?

Yanis

– Do you know , we can found robotics everywhere, like in music, medical purpose, space exploration, and home uses. They are used to help or to replace humans for hard or dangerous work.

Axelle

– Oh great and have you already used robots ?

Yanis

-I only used drones in my garden, some years ago, so i’m not an expert in this field. It was for a private and fun use durin my spare time.

Axelle

– And what are the latest update ?

Yanis

-Currently, there are lots of projects about delivery drones. They can deliver pizzas or amazon parcels.

Now, we talk about the jukebox.

I have a question, What is a jukebox ?

Emma

Jukeboxes were used in restaurants, in bars.To used this machine, you need to put a coin in the machine and select a music.

Axel

Who built it? When is it built?

Emma

The jukebox was built in the 30’s by Joseph Bussoz. And his creator is French.

Axel

Ho ok, It’s really interesting. And how was it built ?

Emma

It’s really simple, There is a button selector system, with an arm. It which must be really accurate. And there is an amplifierin order to play the music loud enough.

Axel

Can we found these in restaurant or bars?

Emma

Now? Not really, in France, the radios replace the jukebox. But in America, we can find somes in bars. And I’ve been recently told that there is one working in a pub in Parthenay.

– So Yanis, can you present a specific drone ?

Axelle

– Yes, I will present Amazon Prime Air.

Yanis

– When were drones invented ?

Axelle

-Drones were invented after the first world war. It began by a prototype of fly without pilots.

Yanis

– What can you say about that ?

Axelle

– Amazon Prime Air is a means of delivery set up by Amazon around 2015. At the beginning the drones were built to delivery Amazon packageas last is possible.

Yanis

– What is the ideas ?

Axelle

– The concept is, the drone takes a package and delivers it in the garden of the customer. The drone leave when the shopper confirms his order.

– What are the characteristics of the drone?

Axelle

– The drone has nine propellers. One is horizontal to take care of the package. It must be less than twenty-fifth kilograms, and it can fly even hundred and twenty meters high.

– What can the Amazon drone do?

Axelle

– The drone can fly with package that must be less than two point two kilograms.

– Have you got further informations?

Axelle

– Amazon promises to deliver packages in twenty minutes. And, the drone is smart, it flies to the home of customer without pilot and it can avoid obstacles

-There aren’t any risks are there ?

Axelle

-Yes, it can be dangerous, for example, for people who walk in the street and bump in a drone. However, I think that it’s useful and great for the future, because the technologies are developping and improving daily life.

-​Are drones a big advancement in our century ?

Emma

-​It’s important to understand that now, robots can fly, without human pilot. So that involves rules and regulations. It can become a problem for the aviation sector. Excessively people use drones to spy their neighbours wich is forbidden.

Axel

-But, is there a positive point ?

Emma

-​But is there a positive sides too, like the possibility to take amazing pictures from the sky. One can take pictures from a higher point of view. It’s also. It’s good for the firm that wants to develop delivery services.
