A circuit with two switches connected in series

To do this circuit we used : one arduino card, four wires, two buttons, one resistor and one LED. The aim of this ciruit is to switch on the LED when we push simultaneously the two buttons, but when we push only one button the LED is not switched on. This circuit corresponds to the logic « AND » function

Circuit One.

This is the easiest circuit that we did, we used an LED, a switch, wires and a resistor.Like we can see in the picture, when we press the switch, the LED turns on and lights up.

First circuits with M Benzi tutorial1

image_lesson1_2

At first the French students watch the Massimo Benzi’s tutorial published by RadioSpares. This tutorial allows them to discover the main electronic components and to build the first three electronic circuits:

1 Circuit one uses a switch, an led and one resistor.

2 Circuit two with two switches in series. It corresponds to the logic “AND” function.

3 The third circuit with two switches in parallel that corresponds to the logic function “OR”.
