Maltese students school visit to Lufthansa Technik
Because there are not Airbus factories in Malta, Maltese students visited the Lufthansa Technik facility.
They were given a private tour of the facility by a representative who explained all the work that goes in maintaining aircrafts. This is done so that aircrafts are safe when people travel.

Two Italian students, Antony and Simone, explored the communication system of an Airbus plane.
Other Italian students worked on some parts of the plane:
3AM & 4AM students on the fuselage;
Andrea, Silvia, Alessandro, Matteo & Pietro on the cockpit;
4CM & 4AM students on the propulsion system.
Finally, four students: Marta, Matteo (3ABIO), Martina & Matteo (4ABIO) focused on the environmental impact of the new plane.
As the Airbus A380 is a collaborative European project, we have decided to explore this subject with our students.
You will find in this blog some presentations on plane manufacture and European Airbus plants.
We will also present some international activities on aeronautics and planes that took place during partners’ meeting in Turin (Italy).
The first students’ task was to fill in a vocabulary chart. Through this work students discovered some vocabulary linked to planes in their mother language, in English and in partners’ languages.
