LRRH’s mother asked her to go to her grandmother’s cottage and bring her a basket of goodies.
She met the Big Bad Wolf who asked LR where she was going. The little girl replied she was going to HER grandmother’s cottage. The wolf thought this was very interesting….
When LR arrived at the cottage she called her grandmother but nobody answered. LR thought it was weird (strange).
When LR saw her grandma she asked her if she was fine/ ok because she looked different. The wolf asked her to come closer. LR told him he had very big ears, and the wolf replied he could hear her better.
LR was very suprised and said he had very big teeth. The wolf said it was better to eat her up!!!
Finally, the woodcutter asked the wolf what he was doing here. As the wolf didn’t answer, the woodcutter ordered him to go away and never come back.

Woolfe (The Red Hood Diaries)
CHALLENGE –
- This is (Little) Red Riding Hood.
- She is on the roof of a house, in a village.
- a- She is carrying weapons → an axe
b- She looks like a villain- a robber/ a thief – a ninja – a warrior – a murderer – a fighter – superheroine - The atmosphere is dark / gloomy- cold – tense – mysterious – sinister – worrying (B1) – threatening (B1)
- She lookS evil /wicked/ mean – brave – courageous – fearless – bossy – resourceful – stubborn – strong-minded = determined – strong – adventurous –
- Her mission is to find and kill the BBW because he ate her grandmother and she wants to take revenge!
- The creator of this video game changed LR’s personality: she isn’t weak anymore = she looks stronger; she is less naive than before; she is not kind at all; she used to be afraid but now she is courageous!
The creator also changed the setting: the story doesn’t take place in the forest anymore. Now LR is in a village with a COLD atmosphere.
He changed her appearance: now she looks older and she has white hair. - We can change the setting (the landscape); the plot (the end of story), make the villain win and the hero die; change the role of the characters/ add or remove characters; change the sex of the characters; change the time period; mix two tales together; add humour and irony
Imagine the prologue to this new version of Little Red’s story. Your introduction will set up Red’s tragic past and hint at her transformation into the woman she has become.
